Technology Point

Technology Points (or Tech Points) are the only locations on each map where Command Stations and Hives can be built. They appear and grates on the ground with blue light below. When a Command Station or Hive is built on it, the gate opens.
Tech Points are vital to control for both teams, as they allow a for loss of the team's original Tech Point without losing the game. For the Marines additional Command Stations also give more potential energy to use on nano-shield and nano-contruct. And for the Kharaa, the number of Hives directly corresponds to the number of evolutions that can be used at the same time. [Paragraph valid as of build 207]
